 Dear Association Members, 

Thank you for your patience as we have been waiting on guidelines from State officials and the Department of Health regarding the pool opening.

With government recommendations & safety in mind, we have made several additions to our pool rules and regulations. Please read the 2 enclosed pool rule documents and sign and return the facilities use waiver. We will continue to monitor recommendations from government officials, the CDC and the GA Department of Health.

Additional information regarding pool opening is listed below.

POOL OPENING and HOURS WILL BE SENT OUT VIA EMAIL AND POSTED ON INFORATION BOARDS AT BOTH POOLS:  The pool will be open June 1, 2020.                                              

CLEANING:  Lifeguard will wipe down frequently touched areas in the bathroom, and will wipe down chairs and tables at the end of each night.

SOAP & PAPER TOWELS:  Soap and paper towels will be readily available in the bathrooms

TABLES & CHAIRS, MAX CAPACITY & PARTIES:  The maximum capacity for the REC pool will be 59 and ENCLAVE POOL WILL BE 50. Tables & chairs have been spaced to allow for social distancing requirements.  PLEASE, DO NOT move pool furniture!  Pool parties are prohibited at this time

POOL RULES:  Please make sure everyone in your household has read ALL pool rules.

FACILITIES WAIVER:  We are requiring residents to sign the enclosed facilities use waiver before keys will be activated. Return the waiver by scanning and sending to jbrack@dpm-re.com or fax to 770-926-3952.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

·         For everyone’s safety, please do not use the facilities if you have a fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath or are experiencing any symptoms of respiratory illness

·         Maintain 6ft social distancing with anyone not living in the same residence

·         Wash your hands frequently

·         Bring hand sanitizer with you

·         Bring sanitizing wipes and wipe down surfaces you have touched before and after using

·         Wear a mask when you are not in the pool

·         Read the attached pool rules

·         Sign the attached waiver as soon as possible so your key can be activated

HOLLY MILL - Small Pool - Parking lot

The pool here was cleaned first and it looks very nice, as does the larger pool at the Recreation Area.
One long term issue with the parking area is that currently there are 9 cars/pick up trucks and one Large plumbing truck, parked there. The truck belongs to an owner who operates a plumbing business out of his home, also he has been sued before for owing $ to the association.
Place now looks like a used car lot.

Holly Mill Recreation Area has a play area, picnic tables, half court basketball site, tennis court and a large pool.  For the moment the pool is not accessible, this includes the small pool at another site.

One thing that HM has is a lot of signs. 

The HM camera system was upgraded after the 1/13/17 vandalism by Christopher Carter Romans, and
Elijah Cole.  Neither were from HM but came onto the property from other subdivisions.  Shown is one of the new cameras.

HOLLY MILL HOA MEETING RESULTS AND FINANCIAL'S

ANNUAL 2020 HOLLY MILL HOA MEETING
To be held 1/22/20. 6:30 check in for 7 pm meeting at the Depot, 164 Hickory Road, Holly Springs.

In my first 2 years I attended but found it was a waste of time.
Haven't gone since.

The HOA will never have a quorum so nothing can be voted on nor any election held.  Even with proxy's probably only 50 of the 663 homes will be represented.

The current board will continue to do nothing and not be responsive to inquiries.  If a vacancy occurs the BOD simply appoints someone they like to fill the vacancy.

For there to be a quorum of the 663 homes you would need 25% attending, that is 166 homes represented either by a proxy or a homeowner.  This will never happen, if 50 homes are represented, by a resident or via a proxy it would be a typical meeting.

Traded in the 2016 Ford Explorer Limited for a Ford Explorer Limited 2020, both had ruby red exterior and black interior.  Here is the new ride:
 Trade in was valued at $21,000 and I put $25,578.35 with it for a total vehicle cost of $46,578.35.
